2017 Program Letter + Tryouts

We are excited for our 8th season of North City Basketball.

Please scroll for information on tryouts, coaching staff, costs and additional information.

Since 2010, North City Basketball has provided players in King, Snohomish and Skagit County with quality training and competitive AAU teams. We are focused on improving each player through skills training, an innovative strength/conditioning program and competing against the top AAU teams through leagues and out of state tournaments.

In 2016, we had 14 teams and 200+ players take part in AAU competition and/or training. We anticipate 16+ teams and nearly 250 players for the 2017 season.

COACHING & TRAINING STAFF
As part of our spring cost, we give our players access to some of the best trainers in the area.

Sgt. Mike Lawson, one of our Founders and Director of Training, (www.coachmiketraining.com)
“Three-Time King5 Best in Western Washington for Adult Bootcamps” will once again run our training and strength development program. Coach Lawson has 25+ years experience of coaching and training basketball players, including collegiate and professional athletes. He currently trains both the Men’s and Women’s Seattle Pacific University basketball teams.

High School Development Program
We are also proud to announce that Ben Williams, former Skyline Head coach, along with Will Lewis (former Shorecrest/Cascade HS assistant) and Andrew Grinaker (founder) will be offering a high school skill development program. This development program will be on top of our regular practices and help our High School players reach their goals of playing college basketball.

The program will help players with skill training, recruiting best practices and personal goal development. We want to help our players train to not only be great basketball players but great members of society as well.

You can visit our STAFF page for a full list of coaches including team assignments.
